Born Ogom Enwemnwa in Benin-City, Nigeria, Ogee attended and graduated from the ever presticgious King's College, Lagos before relocating to the US in 1997. It was in KC Social Events, Choirs and end of year events that his skill as a musician were introduced to a large audeince as a drummer and singer. After attending UNIBEN and being a victim of the ASUU strikes then, Ogee went to further his education at the University of Wiscosin, Madison (one of America's most prestigious schools for the Sciences and Arts).
