Tha Ibz

Tha Ibz [pronounced Da Biz] is a duo of producers turned artistes based in Port-Harcourt; South-South Nigeria who incidentally are blood brothers.
The name Tha Ibz is simply a play on the spelling of “The Ib’s “which is gotten from the first names of both brothers which starts with the letters “IB’. Comprising of Big Mou (Ibidabo Aprioku) and his younger brother I-B-Z (Ibiso Aprioku), these dynamic musicians began several years ago as producers.
Having successfully worked with and created hit tracks for several artistes within their region such as A-Y-Zero, Roarhillz and Eldee of Rhythm 93.7 to mention a few,Thse groundbreaking producers decided to get behind the mike and show how its done.
This foray led to their hit single “One Beer” which ht the top ten on several radio stations in the South-South of the currently and is currently enjoying rave reviews and massive airplay across the nation.
Big Mou, born on the 11th of September 1984 is the group’s vocalist and singer. His unique and distinctive voice serves to show what true music should sound like.
His younger brother I-B-Z (Eye-Bee-Zed), a smooth rapper whose exquisite lyrics create a flow that is undoubtedly original was born on the 11th day of July 1986.
Currently managed by Tha-Ibz Entertainment, An entertainment company set up by this dynamic duo together with their eldest brother and Manager who incidentally is also an “IB”; Ibinabo Aprioku [Da Boss], they are set to take Nigeria and indeed the whole of Africa by storm.
They have concluded work on their debut album which is expected to drop later this year.
