Olusesi Omosetan
Biography |
Whenever and wherever you hear the saying "I go by the name of Olusesi but I love it when the girls call me Oluseesi!" or "Olusesi Omosetan, Oba Idan, Africa's number one all the way from Obalende down to Odunsi Bariga!" you should know it's none other than naija's brightest up and coming act for the year '09 who goes by the name Olusesi Omosetan. Strange but interesting enough, he hails from Orokam in Ogbadigbo Local Govt. area of Benue state. He was born in Lagos (Obalende). The forth born in a family of eight. He got the name Olusesi Omosetan in the streets of Obalende down Toyan street one day while gambling in the game of snooker. This young talented singer have faced (and still facing) a lot of challenges while pursuing his dreams but never gave up on what he strongly believes in. Apart from the sad loss of his dear father Mr Joseph Anebi Okoh (may his gentle soul rest in peace) who died on the 23rd of March, 2008, he had faced several challenges in life. He has been mocked several times by some of his town people for going by a Yoruba name and so on and so forth. Unknown to them, he has a game plan which is bigger than and goes beyond just music. A big dream! They'll only understand later so it doesn't bother hima bit. All the troubles and challenges gave birth to the song "Igboro Ori Mi Ti Da Ru" another hot single from Olusesi Omosetan. One thing i'm certain about is that this young Nigerian is gifted. Hot and ready to take the Nigerian music industry by storm if given the right opportunity and just one chance. He has jumped obstacles way bigger than PRIDE so it can't stand in his way. With this said, Olusesi Omosetan says he is open and free to anyone who wants to sponsor/manage him. He hopes to be signed under a record label soon. He can be contacted on 0808-809-7763 or creamedelacreame@yahoo.com
